Jonathan is an Irish Chartered Accountant who has been working in Tanzania since January 2000 when he transferred from London to Dar es Salaam with PricewaterhouseCoopers.  In 2004 he set up Radar Recruitment which was Tanzania’s first professional recruitment agency.  He also set up Radar Education (Pearson’s distributor in Uganda) and Radar Development (part of an EU funded Not For Profit helping people with disabilities to find jobs in Tanzania).  In 2011 he moved to Kenya where he was appointed as Ireland’s Honorary Consul prior to the establishment of the Irish Embassy in Nairobi.

Jonathan moved back to the UK in 2014 where he mentors the local teams with frequent trips to East Africa.  He lives in Southwold with his wife, Dr Jane E. Miller OBE, and their twin daughters, Abi and Ella.

Jonathan has a Degree and Masters in Biochemistry from Trinity College Dublin and is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.  He is also a board director of CCBRT Hospital and the Hassan Maajar Trust in Tanzania.
